How China eVTOL News and the China Low-Altitude Economy Atlas are reported, verified and corrected — and how to reach me if something is wrong.

Who publishes this
China eVTOL News and the China Low-Altitude Economy Atlas are published by Jennifer Meszaros, carrying on business as Atlas.Earth, a sole proprietorship registered in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

There is no team and no proprietor other than me. Nothing published here is commissioned, sponsored, or paid for by any company covered.
What I report
China’s low-altitude economy: eVTOL and UAV manufacturers, their funding, orders, suppliers, international expansion, and the government policy shaping the sector.
The Atlas is journalism and analysis. It is not investment advice, and it is not a regulatory filing.
Sourcing
Primary sources first. Company announcements, regulatory filings, exchange disclosures, government notices, and the manufacturers’ own materials.
Chinese-language sources are read in Chinese. Where an English rendering of a company or investor name varies between outlets, the Chinese name is treated as the identifier. This is not a formality: firms with near-identical transliterations are routinely different institutions, and separately operated arms of the same group make their own investment decisions. Resolving to the Chinese name is what keeps them apart.
Second-hand reporting is labeled as such. Where a figure comes from media reporting rather than from the company or a filing, the tools say so.
Nothing is scraped and published unread. Every entry is checked against the underlying archive where the archive covers it. The archive runs from May 2024 to the present; where an event predates that, or was confirmed from reporting outside it, the entry is sourced independently and identified as such.
How figures are treated
Disclosed, undisclosed and estimated are distinguished throughout. An undisclosed amount is shown as undisclosed — not as zero, and not as a guess.
Totals are floors, not complete accountings. Undisclosed rounds contribute nothing, so a company total is the minimum publicly confirmed figure. Also excluded, as not representing new capital entering the company: debt facilities such as credit lines, corporate-control events, secondary share transfers, and IPO filings. Debt is tracked separately and tagged where it appears. The tools say this where a total appears.
Totals are computed, not asserted. A company total is derived from the round-level amounts shown beneath it. Add up the rounds and you get the total — there is no separately maintained headline figure that can drift away from the detail.
Currency conversion uses the annual average CNY/USD rate for the year each transaction was announced — not a single flat rate, and not the rate on the transaction date. For 2021 through 2025 these are the IRS published yearly average rates, an official source you can verify independently. The current year uses a year-to-date average and is revised once the year closes and the official figure is published. Every converted figure displays the rate applied and is marked as an estimate. Figures the source itself published in dollars are used as stated and never re-converted.
Inferences are marked as inferences. Investor classifications are inferred from names rather than from ownership records, and are directional.
Announcements are not contracts. Order and letter-of-intent figures reflect what was announced. Confirmed and intent are counted separately and never summed into a single headline figure. Where a distinction between a firm order and a letter of intent is unclear in the source, the tools record the ambiguity rather than resolving it silently.
Where sources conflict, the conflict is shown, along with which reading was followed and why. These provenance notes are part of the published record.
Right of reply
Where I report something specific and adverse about a named company, I aim to put it to that company before publication and to publish their response, or to note that a response was sought and not received.
Where a story cannot wait, or where a company does not respond, that is stated in the piece.
A company that believes it should have been contacted and was not is welcome to say so, and I will record that alongside the article.
Corrections
I will correct errors of fact promptly, on request or on my own discovery, at no cost and without requiring a lawyer.
Corrections are made in three places, as applicable:
- The article — corrected in the body, with a dated note at the foot recording what was changed and when. Substantive corrections are not made silently.
- The Atlas tools — the figure is corrected and, where the error was material, the provenance note records the prior reading.
- This page — material corrections are logged below.
Where a correction is warranted, it is made regardless of who asks. A correction is not a concession in any dispute and is not treated as one.
Where I do not believe a correction is warranted, I will say so, explain what the reporting rests on, and publish your response alongside the piece if you want one published.
How to request a correction
Email hello@myatlas.earth with:
- The article or tool, and the specific passage or figure
- What you say is wrong
- What the correct position is, and any document or source supporting it
I will acknowledge within two working days and respond substantively within ten.
You do not need a lawyer to ask for a correction, and involving one will not make it happen faster.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how a correction request was handled, say so in reply and I will look at it again myself. There is no one else to escalate to — this is a one-person publication, and I would rather resolve a complaint directly than through anyone’s lawyers.

Routine data revisions — figures updated as new reporting surfaces, rounds reclassified as fuller detail emerges, exchange rates revised when an official annual average is published — are part of how the Atlas works and are not logged here. This log records corrections of fact.
Independence
No company covered by China eVTOL News or the Atlas pays for coverage, reviews copy before publication, or has any say in what is published.
The Atlas is funded by subscriptions. It carries no advertising and no sponsored content.
Where I hold any interest that a reader might reasonably consider relevant to a piece, it is disclosed in that piece. At the date of this policy, I hold no position in any company covered.
Takedown requests
I do not remove accurate reporting.
Where reporting is inaccurate, the remedy is a correction, and the process above is open to anyone at no cost. Where reporting is accurate, it stays up, including where a company would prefer it did not.
